Built of steel by C. Connel & Co., Glasgow for Hawaiian Construction Co., Honolulu, to be used on the sugar trade from Honolulu to South America. She was given the name Hawaiian Isles and was rigged as a four-masted barque with royals over double topgallant sails.

Sold to Welch & Co., Honolulu.

Sold to Matson Navigation Co., San Francisco.

Sold to the Alaska Packers Association and renamed the Star of Greenland.

Sold to Stiftelsen Abraham Rydberg, Stockholm to be used as a cargo carrying schoolship, and was renamed the Abraham Rydberg. She was put on the Australian wheat trade.

In collision with the steamer Koranton. The hull was damaged and she lost her main topgallant mast.
- 1943
Sold to Julio Riero Campys, Oporto, and renamed the Fox do Duoro. Later two diesel engines were installed and she was re-rigged as a four-masted barquentine.

Scrapped.
