Built of iron by Conrad Luhring, Germany, to be used on the South American hide trade. She was rigged as a two-masted topsail schooner.
- 1923
Sold to Sweden and renamed the Merry. Traded in the Baltic and the North Sea.
- 1926
An auxiliary engine was installed, and over the next years her rig was gradually reduced to that of a ketch.
- 1969
A fire broke out, destroying the poop deck and the wheelhouse.
- 1973
Restoration works began.
- 1975
Re-rigged as a brigantine, renamed the Eye Of The Wind, and the ship was ready to sail again, now making ``adventure'' cruises all around the world with paying trainees.
- 10 December 1991
Rounded Cape Horn together with the Søren Larsen on their adventurous voyage ``Homeward Round the Horn'' from Sydney to Lisbon.
