Built of iron by Smith & Rodger, Glasgow, for W.H. Dixon, Liverpool. She was rigged as a three-masted full-rigged ship carrying royals over single topgallant sails and double topsails.

Sold to Norwegian owners in Mandal and renamed Adolf Tidemand. She was by then rerigged as a barque.

Sold to J.E. Johansson, Vårdö, Åland.

Left Finström with a cargo of coal for Genoa, where she was intended to be sold, but the vessel disappeared on the way.
