Built of iron by Mounsey & Foster, Sunderland for R.H. Penney, Shoreham. She was rigged as a three-masted barque carrying royals and main skysail over single topgallant sails and double topsails.

Sold to M.F. Stray, Kristiansand, Norway. Later owned by Hans Hansen, Brevik.

Sold to Karl Schröder et al, Hanko, Finland.
- 1939
Laid up in Blackwater River. Later sold to Capt W. Lancaster, Ramsgate and used as a restaurant named Bounty.
